EMF's

Electro-magnetic fields are very much around us in our modern lives as we have seen an explosion in technological advances in the past 50 years and even more so in the past 10 years. We are now in a world where televisions are larger and often more numerous in homes, where there are many more computers being used than previously, where microwave ovens, DVD players, hifi systems, games consoles, electrical clocks and radios, teasmades, tumble driers, electric blankets and so the list goes on of all of the equipment that we tend to have in our daily environments. This all means that we are now surrounded in electrical fields in much greater quantities than ever before and there is plenty of research now available that is suggesting clear links between higher levels of EMFs and the incidence of tumours, foetal development issues, effects on the immune system and Alzheimer's disease to list but a few.

Further useful information can be gained from www.powerwatch.org.uk which is informative and will give you much to ponder, perhaps. In my consultation with you, I will use a professional field meter that can determine the electrical fields around where you sleep, relax and/or work which in turn will inform the suggestions that I make to you. These are often very straightforward and not necessarily expensive as there are usually several options likely to be available for you.

Microwaves

Along with technological advances we have seen an increased progression with mobile phones, DECT phones, microwave ovens and WiFi which we tend to treat as the norm and are un-questioning of, given their convenience and instant results.

Again, I can use a microwave meter to determine where these invisible to the eye, radiation exists which will then leave you with choices. My aim is to advise you of the findings from this survey and to offer you suggestions and ideas of how to eradicate or lessen your exposure to these harmful energies. You may in turn find that this has positive benefits for you and your family but again I can discuss this with you as the choice is ultimately yours.

Again the www.powerwatch.org.uk website is very useful as is www.microwavenews.com
