Purpose of a Consultation
Contrary to some popular beliefs, Feng Shui is not focused purely on moving your furniture or making wealth! In my Consultation with you, we will consider 9 life areas and will then focus on 3 of these that you feel most need time, attention and possibly changes made to them.

Floor Plans and 9 Life Areas
To allow us to consider these life areas, I will need ACCURATE floor plan drawings of the building you wish me to consider. Prior to the consultation, you will be given clear instructions and sample plans to follow to ensure that your floor plans are an accurate representation of your property as this is VITAL if you are to be given accurate suggestions and pointers to follow. These floor plans are needed so that I can place a template called a Bagua (pronounced Bag-wa), which represents the 9 life areas, down on the plans, either using accurate compass directions or applying a method called 3 Door Gate. In the latter method, the front door of the property is the key point for determining how the Bagua sits on your floor plans - this will become clear for you and will be fully explained on the day of the Consultation.What will emerge from this is, which of your rooms represent which of the 9 particular life area on the Bagua. It is therefore absolutely vital that your floor plans are accurate scale drawings of each room - if these plans are inaccurate, I cannot offer you precise and accurate advice and suggestions.

What will you achieve from the Bagua?
I think that you will be amazed at what you find from the Bagua placement as it can offer good ideas about where artwork, ornaments and lighting can be ideally placed as well as ideas about colours too. These considerations can be very revealing and I often find that some "tweaks" may be required but rarely entail expensive changes or purchases. Where possible, I try and use what you have already chosen and love, and may suggest that things stay where they are or are given a new location. I will not move any of your belongings during the consultation as it is more effective if you, the client, do this in your own time and choosing. Again, I will be able to offer you suggestions about the best ways to go about doing this to maximize their impact. All of the recommendations made, are done so with your 3 key life areas in mind, in a way that should hopefully be supportive of you.
Written report and Support after the Consultation
At the end of the Consultation, you will be provided with a report either on the day or several days later. Also note, I will also be available via email and telephone to offer subsequent advice over the next 6 months as you put in place recommendations made. Alternatively, I can arrange to revisit your house or business (at an additional cost) to check the changes that you have made. Change brings about change.
